Why do I need this Service?

The Ontario government has made it a mandatory requirement that all rebuilt motor vehicles, pre-driven vehicles, imported vehicles and previously unfit vehicles must have a signed Safety Standards Certificate prior to vehicle registration.

Done-Rite Tire & Auto is an approved Motor Vehicle Inspection Station, and can issue the signed certificate if the vehicle passes inspection.  The certificate is valid for thirty-six days from the date of the inspection.  The certificate is not a warranty or a guarantee on the general condition of the vehicle; it is certificate that government mandated requirements were met.

What is the cost of this Service?

The professionals at Done-Rite Tire & Auto offer a unique service to customers called a “Pre-Purchase Inspection.” 

If the vehicle meets the government inspection requirements, the signed Safety Standards Certificate will be issued.  In addition, Done-Rite Tire & Auto will provide general comments regarding the vehicle’s condition and overall value.
